The Friends of the Pullman State Historic Site (FPSHS) was founded in 2014 to support the Pullman State Historic Site. The Site consists of the Hotel Florence as well as major parts of the Pullman Factory Complex, now part of the Pullman National Monument.
As goverment budgets tighten, it has become necessary to find additional funding sources for the Pullman State Historic Site. To that end, the Friends of the Pullman State Historic Site was formed as a recognized not-for-profit group with the express purpose of supporting the Pullman State Historic Site and its activities.
The FPSHS is a registered charity with the State of Illinois and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, capable of accepting tax deductible contributions.
Our mission is to support education and development activities at the Site with the intent of maintaining it as a viable community and historic asset in the city of Chicago.
