Description | Record of the construction of Pullman-Standard's 100,000th PS-1 boxcar in 1962. The first boxcar, using a new standardization program, was built at its Michigan City plant in 1947. The record includes press releases, correspondence, approximately 60 builder's photographs of the construction of the car, the finished car with company executives, and the original boxcar.
