Description | The Murray residence is located at 1919 S. Prairie Avenue in Chicago and is also known as the Marshall Field Jr. residence. Solon Beman's original Queen Anne house has been heavily altered and remodeled in 2006 as condominiums. The basic structure was red brick with a heavy stone foundation, stone quoins at the corners and stone banding at the 2nd and 3rd floor levels, with an arched entryway. "Solon S.
