Black and white photograph of house Beman built for his father at 5822 S. Harper Avenue, in Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. The exterior facade has been covered in siding but some original porch details remain and the 2-story bay seems original. The house seems a shadow of its original. "Solon S. Beman:Architecture in Illinois" exhibit.
