First Reformed Church of RoselandThe First Reform Church, coner 107th and Michigan Avenue, had the distinction of being the first church organzation in this part of Chicago. It was organized in 1849, when Roseland was only a farming community. The present churh building was erected in 1887, while Rev. Henry Van Eff was pastor. The church has a seating capacity of 1400; being the largest church in this part of the city. Its membership is about 750, and they have a Sunday school of about 1300 enrollment.
